Cadets from Browne house, Stamford School visit the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire. The Officer Commanding the BBMF, Sqn Ldr Pinner provided a inspirational guided tour of the aircraft.

Paul Collingwood captained the England ODI team to victory wearing "proud to support the troops" wristband throughout the thrilling series against India September 2007. Paul also wore the bands in the three test match series with India earlier in the Summer.
'I wholeheartedly welcome any support given to British troops on their return from serving their country and would like to wish the very best of luck to this fantastic initiative to raise funds for the incredibly important work of organisations such as SSAFA and Combat Stress.'

At the First Test at Lords with England v India 5 members of the England cricket team wore a wristband in support of the charity: England Captain Michael Vaughan, Ian Bell, Paul Collingwood, Matthew Prior and Kevin Pietersen. Kevin Pietersen went on to get a century during the second innings. Below are some picture showing him with the wrist band celebrating his century.
